August 30: Stand With LGBTQIA+ Youth on Wear It Purple® Day! Get Involved

August 01, 2021

Shipping policy

Generally, all orders are processed within two to five business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.

Minus18's campaign peak periods include February (Mardi Gras), May (IDAHOBIT), June (Pride Month), August (Wear it Purple Day) and November (Trans Awareness Week).

During these periods, our small eCommerce fulfilment team endeavours to pack and send orders as quickly as possible, but the number of orders we receive can sometimes triple during these times.

As a result, during these periods, we recommend picking express shipping if you require your order quickly, and especially if you require your order for an activation at work or school to coincide with these campaigns.

Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates

We offer $10 flat rate Regular Shipping for Australian domestic orders, and $14 for Express Shipping, via Australia Post.

We also offer free regular shipping for orders $75 or over – it's our way of saying thank you! If you'd like Express Shipping with your large order, please choose Express Shipping at the checkout.

NOTE: During our busy campaign periods – especially IDAHOBIT, Wear it Purple, and Trans Awareness Week – we know that many of our supporters activate at work and school using our merchandise. During these periods, we'll generally offer complimentary upgrades to express shipping for all orders (including $75 or over free shipping) in order to minimise stress.

During these periods, these shipping upgrades and similar offers will be detailed in the Minus18 store checkout.

In-store pickup

Currently, due to Covid-19 restrictions, safety, and team capacity, we do NOT offer order pick-up from our office at the Victorian Pride Centre.

International Shipping

We offer international shipping to the following countries: USA, UK, Europe.

Please note that due to Covid-19 related restrictions and delays, we have found that international orders have been extremely delayed, and often lost in transit.

We do NOT ship to Latin American countries, due to this reason – all recent orders have been lost, or stuck permanently at their destination country's customs.

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Minus18 is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Either follow the prompts in your shipping notification email, or use your tracking number via this link. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available on Australia Post's end.

NOTE: Australia Post has been experiencing severe delays as a result of Covid-19.

If you haven’t received your order within 20 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us by responding (replying) to your order confirmation, or shipping confirmation email. That way, our team will have your order number, items and details ready to go!

Refunds, returns, and exchanges

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible – replying to your order confirmation, or shipping email is preferred, so our eCommerce team can immediately see your order and order number. Please include a photo of the item’s condition if possible. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.

If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to contact us at orders@shop.minus18.org.au, or – better yet – respond directly to your order confirmation, or shipping confirmation email.
